The Avion des Métiers at the Paris Air Show is the essential hub to discover exciting job opportunities and training courses that prepare you for the future. You will be able to exchange with professionals and experts.
Machining technician
Machining technicians adjust and use conventional or numerically controlled machine tools to process raw materials and manufacture high-precision mechanical parts by material removal. They are specialists in machining techniques for structural or engine parts. They configure the machine using a programming and simulation console, and produce and check the finished parts.
Propulsion engineer
The propulsion system is one of the most complex on an aircraft, and at the heart of environmental, social and economic challenges. Integrating the engine under the wing of an aircraft calls on a multitude of engineering professions and skills, from acoustics and systems engineering to structure, thermodynamics and software engineering. These specialities work together on innovative solutions at the cutting edge of technology to contribute to the decarbonisation of tomorrow's aviation, starting today.
Aerospace painter
The painter is responsible for painting all aircraft and spacecraft structures (aeroplanes, helicopters, satellites, etc.) with rigour and precision (per microgram) to give a visual effect while protecting the painted surfaces. They provide the final touch before the product is delivered to the customer.
