This is just the beginning
We believe that hiring women is only the start—creating an environment where everyone can thrive is essential. Our mentorship programmes, leadership development initiatives, and flexible work policies support career growth at every stage. We champion work-life balance through parental leave, hybrid work options, and employee networks that foster connection and advocacy.
Gender diversity is part of the heartbeat of our organisation ensuring a positive employee experience.
Through fair policies and practices we put in place the right working conditions for all.

A space to belong
Airbus embeds diversity and inclusion in its core values and policies. Networking programmes like the Women's Interactive Network (WIN) foster professional growth.
Airbus also offers awareness workshops and mentoring and internal development programmes, like MyWay which is designed to equip women in the middle of their careers with the tools and confidence they need to excel in leadership roles at Airbus. A dedicated team focuses on these initiatives.

Everyone makes a difference
We recognise that aerospace and defence have historically been male-dominated industries, and we are looking to change this bias.
This is why we place a strong focus on promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers among girls and women through external partnerships and the support of employee resource groups – for example with Capital Filles, Women in Aviation, IAWA (International Aerospace Womens Association) and many more affiliations worldwide.
