The state-of-the-art Digital Centre in Bengaluru is the backbone of Airbus’ Digital Transformation. The centre has grown very steeply and is currently the second largest Digital Centre after the one at the headquarters in Toulouse, France.

A hub for global information management
In 2018, Airbus expanded its Digital capabilities in India by establishing a Global Capability Centre to support all divisions worldwide. The centre drives in-sourcing of core capabilities across four key areas:
- Modernising Employee Resource Planning and Product Lifecycle Management systems
- Powering digital technologies
- Enabling strategic transformation initiatives
- Providing IT infrastructure support globally

Driving digital innovation and collaboration
The Digital Centre focuses on Big Data, IoT, AI, Cloud Computing, Airline Sciences, Cybersecurity, and strategic projects like Digital Design, Manufacturing & Services (DDMS) and Skywise. With over 1500 skilled IT professionals, it delivers IT solutions to the business and also partners with premier Indian institutes for R&D.
