Airbus Summit 2025

Showcasing progress
INSPIRE, INFORM, INNOVATE
The third edition of the Airbus Summit took place in Toulouse, France, where we welcomed speakers, journalists and industry insiders to learn more about our work to pioneer sustainable aerospace. We also had some of our most recent innovations on display for them to experience firsthand.
Airbus is committed to shaping the future of aerospace through innovative design, cutting-edge technologies and novel engineering. But we cannot do it alone. Cooperation and collaboration are the guiding lights that will keep the industry on track to achieve its decarbonisation goals. That’s why we’ve invited experts from around the world to join us in shaping a constructive dialogue about where aviation is today and where it is heading in the decades to come.

Day 2
25 Mar. 2025
CET GMT
Sustainable aviation fuels are a well-established technology that will support the aviation industry towards its goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. This panel offers an update on the state of SAF in the industry today as well as looking at complementary pathways such as carbon dioxide removals.
CET GMT
Burning fuel emits more than carbon dioxide. Airbus and the wider aviation industry are taking a proactive role to address these non-CO2 emissions. What are they, and what does it take to mitigate them? This panel discussion will seek to answer these questions.
CET GMT
Airbus is committed to pioneering the future of aviation by developing cutting-edge technologies that will reduce the fuel consumption of future aircraft. This presentation will give updates on key technology developments related to our work on propulsion systems, wings, hybridisation and hydrogen fuel cells.
CET GMT
Developed under the European Clean Sky 2 programme, Racer brings together over 40 partners from 13 countries, leveraging the strengths of Europe's aerospace industry. Showcasing how cross-border cooperation drives technological progress, this panel discussion will focus on how we can continue to leverage the power of innovation across Europe.
CET GMT
As artificial intelligence works its way into every facet of our lives, its integration poses many questions on how to best use it responsibly. This panel discussion will focus on how the exciting potential of AI can be harnessed in a responsible and ethical manner.
