The SUZ EF – and therefore Airbus – is a future-proof employer for me, not least because of the geopolitical situation and the tasks military aeronautics will be facing in general over the next few years.
Benedikt studied Medical Information Technology at the OTH Regensburg (Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule in Regensburg) after completing his subject-specific university entrance certificate (technical). Following his studies, he began his career as a Software Engineer in civil aeronautics at a medium-sized company before moving to the SUZ EF.
“I really wanted to continue working in aeronautics and when I read the keyword ‘Eurofighter’ in the job advert, I was hooked. The product we are working on is unique and the tasks are both complex and one of a kind. The working environment at an airfield with flight operations is the ‘cherry on top’, so to speak, for anyone who is enthusiastic about aircraft. Working together with the military personnel is a very special experience for me, which I value above all because of the camaraderie that naturally also extends to the civilian employees.”
