Our Airbus Commercial Aircraft teams in Brazil support a strong fleet, with customer service representatives playing a crucial role. Our teams in Querétaro, Mexico, manufacture emergency exit doors and bulk cargo doors, employing skilled engineers and technicians to ensure innovative solutions.
At Airbus Helicopters, we are the world’s leading manufacturer in this field! Our activities are spread across Itajubá in Brazil (main site with our subsidiary Helibras), Santiago in Chile and Quéretaro in Mexico. Our local teams cover engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, sales, training and customisation services.
Our Defense and Space division is well-established, particularly in Brazil and Mexico, providing advanced transport, mission, and combat aircraft. This unit also employs sales professionals engaging with military and government clients.

At Helibras - Airbus' Brazilian subsidiary - we are proud to be the only turbine helicopter manufacturer in Latin America. Since 1978, we have been building a trajectory marked by innovation and excellence:
- +500 talents work together in our teams, operating in Itajubá, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia.
- With a 47% share of the sector, Helibras is the market leader with more than 850 helicopters delivered and serving civil, military and government clients.
Our Engineering Centre is recognized with “Design Organization Authority” Level 1 certification by Airbus Helicopters, ensuring that our experts have access to the latest knowledge in engineering and production processes.

Southern Cone
Airbus has been a key player in the Southern Cone for over 20 years, with around 100 employees across Chile, Argentina and Uruguay, and operations extending into Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru. With activities in Helicopters, Commercial Aircraft and Defence and Space, we offer dynamic opportunities across the aviation industry.
Our main site based in Chile operates over 140 helicopters and 70 commercial aircraft, but also 11 military aircraft in operation and a satellite orbiting the Earth. Our teams provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and training services in the region.
