He is the Observer for the International Coalition for Sustainable Aviation (ICSA), an umbrella group for environmental NGOs, at the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). Tim is a member of the UK Government’s Jet Zero Taskforce Expert Group, and is an advisory board member of ACI’s Airport Carbon Accreditation Scheme and the UK’s Sustainable Aviation initiative.
Tim will bring a civil society perspective on non-CO2 issues, which is driven more by the need for climate action, to Airbus Summit 2025. For many of the questions around non-CO2 emissions and sustainable aviation, there will be a consensus on the general issues and solutions, but priorities and timetables are likely to be different, especially for non-CO2 where there is often a lack of policy incentives that could delay progress.
Join Tim Johnson at at Airbus Summit 2025 for 'Identifying, investigating and mitigating non-CO2 emissions' on 25 March at 10:15 CET.
