Glenn Llewellyn is Vice President of the ZEROe project, Airbus’ hydrogen-powered aircraft project.
Glenn is working closely with industry partners, research institutions, and policymakers to drive innovation in hydrogen and electrification. Under his leadership, Airbus has accelerated efforts in hydrogen ecosystems, infrastructure readiness, and fuel-cell propulsion, reinforcing its commitment to climate-neutral aviation.
With a strong background in sustainable aviation technologies, Glenn previously led Airbus’ research and technology strategy on electrification. He played a key role in pioneering electric and hybrid-electric demonstrators, including the E-Fan X and the CityAirbus program.
Glenn is a recognized leader in the aviation industry’s transition to sustainable energy solutions and actively engages with global stakeholders to advance regulatory frameworks and ecosystem collaboration. His work continues to position Airbus at the forefront of aviation’s decarbonisation journey.
