Brice Makinadjian is the Chief engineer of the Racer demonstrator at Airbus Helicopters. 

With a strong background in Helicopter Dynamics and Vibrations, he has contributed significantly to the development of key innovative systems such as helicopter landing gears, retractable horizontal stabilizers and electro-mechanical actuators. Makinadjian is known for having led the Clean Sky 2 Racer demonstrator involving as many as 40 partners in 13 different countries and has played a pivotal role in demonstrating Airbus Helicopter’s capabilities to produce an aircraft from a clean sheet, mastering all the technical aspects. 

At Airbus Summit 2025, Makinadjian will share insights on the European Racer project, drawing from his extensive experience as Chief Engineer of the demonstrator. He will discuss the aircraft’ main innovations, providing valuable perspectives on how they contribute to reducing the environmental footprint of the aircraft.
