More than 370 highly-skilled employees work at Airbus in Finland, primarily in the area of research and development, innovation, engineering and project management. The Finnish entity, which has locations in Helsinki and Jyväskylä, operates in the fields of Public Safety & Security and Intelligence; it is a fully integrated part of the international organisation in Airbus, with know-how and experience exchanged and shared across different sites.
Largely export-driven, over 90 percent of revenue comes from outside the country.

Commercial Aircraft in Finland
Our products & services
Finnair operates an Airbus fleet of more than 50 aircrafts, including a fleet of 30 single aisle family aircrafts as well as 23 widebodies with A330 and the latest generation aircraft the A350-900.
Finnair was the first airline to order the A350, and the first European airline to operate the A350 in October 2015.
In October 2021, Finnair selected Airbus’s Flight Hour Services (FHS) to support its entire A320 Family fleet, thus becoming the first European FHS customer for an A320 fleet.
Helicopters in Finland
Our products & services
Finland Helicopter Emergency Medical Services operates an all-Airbus helicopters fleet of 5 H135s and 4 H145s for emergency medical services from 7 bases.
The Finnish Border Guard operates 5 Super Puma AS331/H215 helicopters.
The Finnish Army operates 20 NH90 tactical transport helicopters. This programme was developed in very close cooperation with the Finnish company Patria, which established the NH90 assembly line and retrofit programme in Halli, Jämsä.
