Niko Szodruch leads customer support for Airbus Helicopter operators across North America. In his executive role, he is responsible for supporting the more than 800 customers across the region, analyzing and understanding the service needs of current and potential customers, and proposing the right level of solutions in line with their unique needs and an evolving market environment. In addition, he leads development of the company’s strategic service plan to help drive improvements as well as grow and sustain business.
Niko earned a combined engineering and business degree from the Berlin University of Technology, Germany. He joined Airbus Helicopters in Spain in 2005 as a maintenance engineer and served in various roles in Support and Services.
Niko was selected for an Airbus leadership training program and worked at Airbus Helicopters sites in Spain, Germany and France. Niko moved to Germany in 2009 to work with the Offer and Contract Preparation team in Sales. Before moving to the U.S. in 2022, he served as Vice President of Maintenance and Repair Operations based in Germany, where he oversaw Airbus Helicopters’ global helicopter maintenance and retrofit business
