Airbus in Australia, New Zealand is a part of Airbus, a global leader in aeronautics, space and related services. With more than 1000 employees across 12 locations in Australia and New Zealand, Airbus supports over ten aircraft fleets of the Australian Defence Force and New Zealand Defence Force.

The company is also the market leader in civilian and parapublic helicopter sales in the region and supports more than 500 civil helicopters directly and through a network of loyalty partners. Airbus provides a range of component MRO services to customers in the region, including large aircraft engine and propeller overhaul and aircraft strip and paint.

We have exciting opportunities across our locations and for a range of skill sets from aircraft maintenance engineers to safety specialists, administration and finance roles.

Who we are

Airbus has a long and successful industrial footprint in Australia and New Zealand which includes maintenance, repair and overhaul centres for civil and military fixed wing and rotary aircraft. This presence has made a direct contribution to the local economies, built regional aerospace capabilities and created high-value jobs in the aviation industry. With more than 1,000 employees across both countries in different locations, the Airbus teams are ready to support customers.

Airbus’ operations in Australia are located in Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney, and on defence bases in Adelaide, Darwin, and western Queensland. In New Zealand, our teams are located in Auckland and on defence bases in Whenuapia, Ohakea, and Blenheim.
