Helicopter Generalities / Familiarisation
The objective of the helicopter generalities course is to provide a general understanding of the helicopter, its system and its power plant. This course provides an overview of all aircraft and engine systems as outlined in the System Description Section of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (Level 1).

Type Rating Category B1 Mechanics
The B1.3 / T1 Mechanics Type Rating course provides knowledge and proficiency to operate and maintain aircraft with a high level of safety and great efficiency. It covers all relevant airframe and main avionics systems.
Type Rating Category B2 Avionics
The B2 / T2 Avionics Type Rating course provides knowledge and proficiency to operate and maintain aircraft with a high level of safety and great efficiency.
The training course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills for line and base maintenance of the helicopter. It covers all relevant avionics and main airframe systems.
Type Rating Category C
The objective of the category C / T4 helicopter generalities course is to provide a general understanding of the helicopter, its system and its power plant, in accordance with EASA Part 147 and many other international authorities’ requirements.
This course provides an overview of all aircraft and engine systems as outlined in the System Description Section of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (Level 1).
Difference
The type rating difference course allows the technician to acquire the technical knowledge on existing differences between two helicopters of the same family.

Conversion
The conversion training course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills on specific differences between two variants of a same helicopter type.
Structure Repair
The Stucture Repair courses provide technicians with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to carry out structural repairs according to Airbus Helicopters' repair instructions.
Blades Maintenance and Repair
These training courses provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills that enable technicians to perform tasks and inspect and repair the related rotor blades in accordance with the technical documentation provided by Airbus Helicopters.
Mechanical Assemblies Maintenance
During the Mechanical Assemblies Maintenance course, attendees will discover the function and repair process, and learn to repair mechanical assemblies and dynamic components.
Maintenance Check Flight
The maintenance check flight course equips trainees with the knowledge and proficiency needed to perform technical flights in accordance with the Airbus Helicopters maintenance and flight manual.
Wiring Repair
This training course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills to enable technicians to inspect and repair the cable / wiring harness in accordance with Airbus Helicopters technical publication.
Air Conditioning Maintenance
The course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills to enable the technician to inspect and maintain the associated air conditioning system in accordance with the official technical documentation.
Autopilot Hydraulic Unit
The Automatic Pilot Hydraulic Unit course is designed to provide technicians with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform maintenance on the hydraulic unit.
Continuous Airworthiness

Logistics
This course provides knowledge of the complete material & logistics support process and all interfaces between the customer and Airbus Helicopters.
Technical Publication
The Technical Publication course provides knowledge of Airbus Helicopters' technical publications and their application during maintenance operations on helicopters.

Hoist Maintenance
The course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills to enable technicians to inspect and maintain hoist system in accordance with official technical documentation.
Hoist Operator
The Hoist Operator course is available at two levels: basic and conversion to type.
Cargo Hook Maintenance
The course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills to enable technicians to inspect and maintain the associated cargo hook system in accordance with official technical documentation.
HUMS Introduction and Maintenance
The training course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills to enable technicians to perform the line management of the Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) according to Airbus Helicopters technical publication. Further access to a helicopter equipped with a Health Monitoring System (HMS)
must be provided by the customer to enable practical training.
