Aliaca line

Product portfolio

Maritime at heart, global in mind

Aliaca is perfectly adapted to perform Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), protection or surveillance missions in land, coastal or maritime environments. With more than ten years of maritime experience, Aliaca has become a key asset in ensuring global security and protection of our seas in an ever-changing maritime environment. Aliaca is the result of 10 years of R&D investment and on-board experimentation.

The light tactical maritime UAS enables navies around the world to efficiently control, program and manoeuvre tactical missions to precise locations in support of manned assets. In 2020, the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) signed a contract to supply Aliaca systems to the French Navy (Marine nationale), along with associated training and in-service maintenance. The system is currently deployed worldwide to support the daily missions of the Marine nationale.

MISE EN OEUVRE DRONE CDT BIROT

Aliaca is a robust imagery tool that enhances ISR capabilities, supporting decision making and operational responsiveness. Aliaca can easily respond to missions in challenging environments through catapult deployment by only two operators in less than 15 minutes.

The system is recovered by a proven, safe, intelligent and automatic net recovery system integrated on the ship or on a trailer for land operations. The net recovery system has a small logistical footprint, making it ideal for use on existing and future naval vessels, regardless of the size and availability of a helipad. The Aliaca range offers two configurations: an electric configuration (Aliaca Evo) and a thermal configuration (Aliaca ER).

Electrically powered, the Aliaca Evo can carry out missions within a range of 50 km (27 NM) and with an endurance of three hours in complete visual and acoustic discretion. The system is equipped with the latest GX5 EO/IR (Electro-Optical/Infra-Red) payload, a gyro-stabilised turret providing operators with 360⁰ panoramic coverage and high quality imagery, and an Automatic Identification System (AIS) sensor. As a result, the Aliaca can effectively carry out missions requiring data collection on a fixed or moving target, day or night.

The Aliaca ER (Extended Range) is a configuration offering a range of 80 km/43 NM and double endurance - six hours - thanks to a new thermal engine (compatible with JET A1, JP5, JP8). In addition to the EO/IR GX5 payload and AIS, the Aliaca ER also integrates a transponder (ADS-B out) and geocaching.

Capa-X

Product portfolio

Capa-X is a flexible drone system that can be easily adapted to a wide range of missions, configurations, airworthiness and sovereignty requirements.

The structure of the drone itself, as well as its components, can be modified to adapt to all types of terrain and missions. It can take off from a ship as a VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) or HTOL (Horizontal Take-Off and Landing), depending on the customer's requirements. The possibility of different wing configurations also plays a key role in adapting cruising speeds or increasing flight autonomy.

This concept offers maximum flexibility and adaptability for armies, navies, air forces, special forces and any parapublic or civil entity.

Why choose small tactical UAS?

A global and comprehensive training package suitable for the operation and maintenance of the small tactical portfolio is provided by in-house experts.

Training capabilities

Adaptability:

  • With a limited footprint, our Small Tactical portfolio can be adapted to the ever-changing customer environment, such as on a ship without a helicopter platform

Mobility in the field:

  • Ease of deployment and fully automated recovery
  • Agile preparation, can be pre-flight checked and deployed within 15 minutes
  • Easy transport thanks to the small footprint of our systems

Accuracy:

  • Operation in challenging environments, programmed and manoeuvred with accuracy and greater range of movement compared to manned assets to precise locations

Support to manned assets:

  • Reduces workload and complements manned assets

Reliable, Safe, Certified:

  • Proven capabilities, adapted to perform missions in all conditions and environments
  • Quality Management System ISO 9001 certified since 2014
  • EN 9100 quality certification for the aeronautics industry since 2023
  • Experience in the certification of our systems

Ground Control

The Small Tactical UAS common ground station is compact and lightweight. With a small logistical footprint it is flexible for missions on the go, and can be easily moved to where it is needed. The GCS consists of an Aircraft Mission Station (AMS) and a Payload Display Unit (PDS), where two operators can prepare and track missions on the AMS and receive real-time data and imagery on the PMS.
