Mid-September two high ranking representatives from the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC), United States Embassy, Berlin, Germany visited the Airbus DS Bremen site.

 

Both Paul Tombarge (Chief, ODC Berlin) und his Deputy Chief Chris Chaveron were very impressed by the Orion-ESM Module. The Office of Defense Cooperation is a joint organization staffed with personnel from all three U.S. military departments  as well as U.S. and German civilian employees. Its mission is to strengthen bi-lateral defense relationships, enhance allied military capabilities, and promote defense industrial cooperation within the framework of the U.S. Ambassador's Integrated Country Strategy and U.S. European Command's Theater Security Cooperation Strategy.
