Felix studied Aeronautical Engineering at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences before changing careers and joining the German Air Force. He was trained as a Eurofighter Systems Engineer at the SUZ EF. After a squadron internship at 73 Tactical Air Wing ‘Steinhoff’ (TktLwG 73) in Laage, he assumed the role of Technical Focal Point at the SUZ EF User Help Desk (UHD).
Due to the close contact with the Eurofighter partner nations and their industrial manufacturers, our day-to-day work is characterised by an engaging, international environment. This means that the range of tasks is always diverse and exciting.
“Within the SUZ UHD, I am responsible for processing and coordinating the requests sent to Airbus Defence and Space by the Eurofighter partner nations and the Eurofighter export nations. I particularly value being up close with the operational weapon system and its technology, as I can apply my knowledge here in numerous ways. The Eurofighter is constantly being advanced and refined, which lets me experience and help shape technical progress at first hand. Through our work, we make a valuable contribution to ensuring the operational readiness of the German Air Force.”
