Airbus Defence and Space in Warsaw
Plant and Service Centre
Combining over 95 years of Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze (PZL) heritage, Airbus Defence and Space in Poland employs more than 600 people. Our Warsaw Okęcie site houses the design office, production facility and Service Centre, providing maintenance for the C295 transport aircraft of the Polish Air Force and other countries’ fleets.
Our activities play a key role in Airbus's global supply chain, with operations including:
- Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO): Certified CASA C295 Service Centre for the Polish Air Force and international fleets.
- Electrical harnesses: Production of harnesses for military and civil aircraft, as well as satellites.
- Aviation structures: Manufacturing complex fuselage, wing and door structures.
- Engineering services: Designing and upgrading light aircraft and structure components.

Airbus Helicopters in Łódź
Aviation design
Based in Łódź, Airbus Helicopters Poland (AHP) boasts 130 highly qualified employees, including 110 engineers. As a leading design office and key R&D centre, we specialise in designing, testing and optimising mechanical and structural components for helicopters and VTOL rotorcraft.
Working closely with facilities in Marignane (France) and Donauwörth (Germany), AHP is a key R&D centre driving innovation in aviation. We take great pride in working on innovative projects that will set the trends for the future.
