Marcella Hoffmann has been Executive Vice President Human Resources and a member of the Airbus Defence and Space Executive Committee since September 1st, 2022.
In addition she is the Head of Human Resources Airbus Germany.
Before joining Airbus Defence and Space, Marcella led the Programmes & Services Transformation at Airbus for three years. Prior to this Marcella spent the last 20 years working within the Human Resources function at Airbus. She held various leadership roles, the most recent being the Head of HR Business Partner and HRBP to the COO Airbus. In this role Marcella was responsible for overseeing over 300 HRBPs worldwide, along with all operational HR activities including Talent & Executive management. Over the years Marcella held various Senior HRBP roles in different functions, such as Engineering, Production, Customer Services and Customer Affairs through which she has developed a wide range of different HR solutions.
Marcella joined Airbus in 2001 in the frame of a graduate management trainee programme with specialisation in Human Resources Management. She started her career in the corporate HR Leadership Development team before taking the role as Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President Human Resources Airbus.
In 2018, she was appointed as "Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite”.
Native from the North of Germany, Marcella holds a degree in Business Administration, specialised in European Management, which she obtained both in Germany and in France. She speaks fluent German, English and French and is working on her Spanish.
