Safety information notices (SIN) and technical publications

Introduction

As part of its commitment to safety, Airbus Helicopters develops Safety Information Notices and other technical publications to provide customers with valuable information related to the company’s products and services. This section contains some of these documents. Airbus Helicopters customers can consult the entire library of technical publications through the company’s Technical Information Publication on Internet (T.I.P.I) according to their subscription.

Potentially scrapped, cannibalised or destroyed Airbus Helicopters aircraft

Airbus works closely with customers and operators to ensure only genuine helicopters and parts are used, and that customers are not misled into purchasing or operating aircraft or parts which were scrapped, cannibalized or destroyed and then reused or rebuilt by others without Airbus’ involvement.

Technical occurence reporting

Airbus analyses the events to define whether preventative and/or corrective measures are required. Quality and safety are core focuses for Airbus, and the company strongly encourages its customers to report any event considered as abnormal, as described in its “Occurrences Reporting” Information Notice.
