  • After a week on display at this year’s Heli Expo Trade Show in Louisville Kentucky in early March, the H215 set off on a cross country tour, visiting customers, prospects and members of the press before taking its second home on static display at the Aerial Firefighting International in Sacramento, CA.

The demo tour was a great success and allowed industry stakeholders from around the country a feel for this new versatile, heavy-lift solution.

During the 3-week long US tour, the H215:

  • Performed flights for more than 100 people

  • Including nearly 40 pilots

  • Flew more than 63 flight hours and nearly 6,000 miles (9,500 km)


  • Customers enjoyed the opportunity to get to know this machine in more detail, citing its impressive automation, built-in safety features, smooth ride and performance.
    The H215

    Proposing a new business concept to the market, the H215 offers a standardized equipment definition for more rapid production times at an economic price, meeting the needs of existing and emerging markets. It is tailored for a full range of missions, in particular utility airlift with internal and external loads, firefighting, law enforcement and search & rescue missions, federal and military operations as well as peace-keeping and humanitarian deployments.

    The H215 combines advanced avionics and a reliable platform for rugged multi-mission capabilities. It offers long range capabilities, power, speed, a large useful payload and very good lifting performance in hot and high environments. Both EASA and FAA certified, the aircraft is equipped with the latest, most modern technologies meeting the latest safety requirements of the market. This includes a glass cockpit and the renowned 4-axis autopilot used on the H225, which provides flight envelope protection, unrivalled precision, and stability in even the harshest operating conditions.
