Hear from our Armed Forces Employee Resource Group Leader

At Airbus, we recognise the invaluable contributions of military personnel and proudly support veterans and reservists in their careers. As a current Reservist in the Royal Navy, I have experienced first-hand the commitment Airbus has made to service members. The company upholds its Gold Covenant membership, ensuring that military personnel receive the support they need to balance both careers.

Airbus fosters a strong armed forces community, offering a dedicated employee resource group and hosting events throughout the year to celebrate and support our service personnel. This inclusive environment allows veterans to integrate seamlessly, benefiting from a workplace that values their unique skills and experiences.

Many of the skills developed in the military, such as leadershipteamwork, and problem-solving, are directly applicable at Airbus. As a reservist, I’ve found that my experiences complement my civilian role, allowing me to bring fresh perspectives and skills from both careers.

For those transitioning from military service, Airbus is an excellent place to apply your expertise while continuing to serve in a meaningful way. Whether you are a veteran or a reservist, you’ll find a welcomingsupportive, and forward-thinking environment that values your service and skills.
