Thomas Hundt became Executive Vice President Finance of the Commercial Aircraft business in January 2024. He is a member of the Commercial Aircraft Leadership Team.
Serving before as Executive Vice President Finance for Airbus Helicopters and with overall 25 years of experience in Finance, he has gathered a vast expertise and knowledge in the Company’s financial affairs.
Prior to joining Commercial Aircraft and Airbus Helicopters, Thomas Hundt served as Chief Financial Officer at the European satellite launch company Arianespace. Before this, he held executive positions such as Vice President Finance and Controlling for Earth Observation, Science and Navigation Satellites at Astrium (now Airbus Defence and Space), Vice President Finance and Controlling for Navigation Satellites and Vice President Division Controlling Astrium.
Thomas Hundt holds a diploma in Business Economics from the Cooperative State University Stuttgart, Germany, and an executive MBA from IMD, Switzerland. He joined the company in 1998 as a Commercial Controller in the Tornado programme management company Panavia.
Born in 1974, he is married and has 3 children.
