Since January 1, 2024, Stella V. Belvisi serves as the General Counsel of the Commercial Aircraft business.
Prior to this appointment, Stella served as Airbus Americas, Inc.’s Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and a member of the executive team. She led the Airbus Americas One Roof Legal and Compliance team supporting the commercial aircraft, defence and space and helicopters businesses in the United States, contributing to the growth, managing risks and fostering a strong compliance culture and collaboration throughout the region.
Stella brings over 20 years of experience in aviation and leadership roles. Stella started her career at Airbus working in the Legal department before joining major law firms, such as Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York City where she primarily advised on aircraft finance, capital markets and general corporate and finance matters. Stella holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, School of Law.
