Karen Florschütz is Head of Connected Intelligence within Airbus Defence and Space and Member of the Executive Committee of Airbus Defence and Space, since February 2023.
Before joining Airbus, Karen’s previous role was Unit CEO for Customer Services at Siemens Digital Industries.
Since 1998 Karen held various management positions for Siemens and Dresser Rand in the Telecoms and Oil & Gas sector, including Senior Vice President Operations Americas, heading all Dresser Rand and Siemens plants in the USA and India and as General Manager of Packaged Compression Trains heading the plants in Houston (USA) and Hengelo (Holland). In 2017 Karen joined the Digital Factory division as Executive Vice President & General Manager for Automation Products and Customizing Solutions and finally in 2019 she became CEO of Customer Services within the Digital Services division.
She started her professional career in the consulting sector in the USA, as Project and M&A Manager at EBT Consulting.
Karen studied economics and industrial science in Germany and Canada and earned an MBA in the USA.
