Martin Werner was appointed Head of Digital and Company Transformation (DTO) as of 1st January 2023. He is a member of the Executive Committee of Airbus Helicopters.
Prior to his current position, Martin Werner was the Head of Central Operations since September 2016. In this role he was accountable for the design and implementation of the world wide Operations System of Airbus Helicopters.
From 2002 to 2016, Martin Werner served in different positions for the Governmental Helicopter Programmes, including the NH90 Export Programme Manager, the Head of Government Helicopters in Airbus Australia Pacific and the Head of NH90 Final Assembly Line in Airbus Helicopters in Germany. He started his career in the aerospace industry at Fairchild Dornier in 2001.
Martin Werner graduated from the Technical University of Munich. He was a consultant for six years and holds a PhD in Engineering in the field of Production and Logistics.
