Who is eligible for an apprenticeship programme in Airbus?

We open positions for technical apprenticeships from the last year of high school to the last year of college, in a wide range of disciplines. Please check the apprenticeship programme page of your country to learn the specific criterias in terms of age and education level to join us as an apprentice.

How to apply to Airbus apprenticeship programmes?

First, you need to apply during the Airbus apprenticeship application season related to your country*. Our team will assess whether you match the requirement of the role. If you do, you will be able to demonstrate your motivation and potential during a video interview. Next step is an in-person interview with your future manager. If successful, you will be offered an apprentice position!

*We offer apprenticeship opportunities for a duration of 1 up to 3 years, with application periods starting at different times depending on the country you want to apply for. Please, check the dedicated page.

What jobs are open to apprentices?

By doing your apprenticeship in Airbus, you will work alongside experienced employees working in a wide variety of disciplines (over 14). You can gain invaluable insights into a wide range of vocations from Production, Engineering, IT, Cyber, Procurement and Finance to Strategy, Customer Support, Marketing and Sales. What benefits are Airbus apprentices eligible for?

As an Airbus apprentice, you will always be rewarded for your hard work ; we will make sure you enjoy the following benefits: monthly salary, annual days of leave (number of days can vary according to your country & local policies), academic and on-the-job training, company pension if eligible. In addition there are discretionary company success sharing bonus and optional participation in company share purchase schemes.

Is there an age limit in order to apply for an Apprenticeship Programme?

Airbus offers learning opportunities in different countries and age requirement may vary according to the specific location. 

In France, the age limit for apprenticeships is 31 years old.

If I am an American citizen, can I apply for an Apprenticeship in France?

Apprenticeships at Airbus are open to students of all nationalities but you must be a student in a French school to be eligible for the apprenticeship contract.

What does an apprenticeship or internship consist of at Airbus Poland?

Before starting your apprenticeship or internship, we’ll provide you with key organizational details. On your first day, you'll receive health and safety training, an entry card, and basic company info. 

For paid internships, you'll sign a fixed-term contract. Your tutor will introduce you to your workplace, tasks, and colleagues. For additional support, you can contact the Early Careers Program Coordinator in HR. After your program, you may be asked to complete an evaluation. 

Selection decisions are usually made by May-June for summer internships.

Which degree do I need to have to apply for an apprenticeship or internship at Airbus Poland?

Some roles may require specific educational backgrounds. For example, departments like Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing Performance & Improvement often prefer candidates with degrees in Mechanics, Energy and Aviation, Mechatronics, or related fields. 

Always send a complete resume with your educational background and a motivational letter explaining who you are, your interests, and passion for aerospace. Mention any relevant experiences or hobbies.
